Who are DSP's?
Direct Service Professionals are the heart of our organization. They are the people who directly help adults with developmental disabilities in their daily lives and who have the most contact with them and with the public.
The goal of Group Living is to help the people we serve live as independently as possible as part of the community. With this in mind, Direct Service Professionals assist the people we serve around town and in the their homes. From grocery shopping and cooking to weekend bowling and social activities, the DSP’s job varies with the person served and shift.
Because Direct Service Professionals are the public face of our company they are held to a high standard when it comes to friendliness and professionalism and are respected as professionals doing a sometimes difficult but always rewarding job.
