September 1st marked the kick-off of Group Living, Inc.’s “Bee Our Guest” fundraiser. Any interested hosts throughout the community can invite family and friends into their homes for an event of their choosing. Whether it is a dinner party, cocktail party, tailgate party or house-warming party – just to name a few — invited guests are asked to bring a minimum donation of 25 dollars to be deposited into Group Living’s capital campaign fund. Hosts are asked to schedule their parties from September second through December 31st.

In exchange for their donations, party guests will receive a wristband to serve as their ticket to Group Living’s “Bee Our Guest” finale parties. The finale parties will be held in late January.  Party locations will be announced at a later date.  KDEL’s Sherry Kelley will host the live remote and serve as the DJ at one of the locations. Food, drinks, dancing, and fun as well as a live and silent auction will cap off the party season and serve to thank all who participated in this fun event.

Invitations, envelopes and wristbands will be provided by and are available for pick-up at Group Living, Inc. main offices located at 710 Main Street. For more information contact Todd Lucas, Director of “Bee Our Guest”, at 246-5849 or tlucas@groupliving.org. Information can also be found on Facebook under the group “Bee Our Guest.”
